Malaga here we come!!!

YES YES YES !!! We just booked our flights to Malaga. Last year we spent 9 days in Malaga or we spent 8 days because we missed the flight form Cork in the morning. I had been looking forward to go since we booked the flights and I had been ticking off the days in my calendar for the passed month and a half (no joke). It was so depressing here in Cork, it had been raining every day for 2 months.I MEAN EVERY DAY!
All kind of rains, drizzle, showers, spray rain like I call it ...all kind of rains. Believe me if you haven't lived in Ireland you dont know all the different kind of rains it exists...its not just one or two kinds rain. Hundreds of them.

Alright enough about the rain. Last year we spent a couple of days in Veja de la Frontera, a tiny mountain village close to Cadiz. I was looking for a boutique hotel and I found Hotel V. http://www.hotelv-vejer.com/ I googled a bit about the area and it looked amazing. We arrive in Veja de la Frontera after hours of driving because we decided to take a short cut (we thought), end up speaking to some local police men in a small town because we got lost. Keep in mind that this is not a tourist area at all so they spoke spanish and yeah we speak NADA. Anyhow we arrived and learnt that Hotel V was within the oldest part of the village, were you could not enter with a car.
Of course my lazy Muppet Man didnt want to walk from were we had to park the car so in the heat in the hottest hours of the day he tried to enter through the old city walls. I was sweating not because it was so warm outside no...because the smell from the rubber of the wheels, I saw a wall 3 meters in front of me and a 30 meters drop behind me. In the end after he had tried to get in about 20 times and about 5 laps around the old wall, he gave up and we had to park the car below and a little golf car came and picked us up,which explains the small and narrow streets. I think im going to book for a night or two at Hotel V. again for this summer as well, but this time the car will be parked straight away and no short cuts.
