On friday Im going to drag mr.Muppet to Ladurée for some after noon tea .... yummie yummie. Cant wait to go now. Really looking forward to it.

Talking about closet ...

In Grazia's double issue is was an interview with Oliva Palermo ...who has a fab closet for sure. She said she knows her closet inside out so when she is doing shopping she nows exactly what she need ... My goal for 2010 is to become bit more like that in my mind as well.

I am already bit like it, but I mentioned I have an tendency to do the impulse shopping and a lot of stuff can still have its tag on .... oppsie

London Calling again.

I’m going to London on Thursday with the Muppet and for days now I have been thinking about what I’m going to buy. I figured when I cleaned out my closet before Christmas, that I have to become a bit more like my man, invest in more basic clothes…. So I have teamed up with my best friend Mr. Google or Miss …I guess Google doesn’t have a sex but Google sounds like a male so Mr. Google it’s. To find out where I can find the clothes I’m looking for.

In Selfridges I can find T by Alexander Wang … I want to buy some basic tees. And Im trying to find a location for Acne as well in London because

I saw a really nice pair of pants from their spring collection ..... slim leg and a bit loose up to.

What else....???? A list have to be created before thursday. Have promised myself to not do an impulse buying this year....or at least try.

Spring 2010 : Nudes

Earthy neutrals and pretty nudes....ahhh. Nudes are every were this season...you could see alot of it last year but now for the spring its the bomb. I think it really important to find a nude color in the right shade for your skin tone, you can turn out looking like the top or the dress yourself..

The fabric for the nudes are very sheer and light...draped dresses,layers, rufflings etc. Become a big softie.
But make a contrasts with black, grey and a splash of color ... belts, sandals, bags.

Acne Fall/winter 2010

The spring haven arrived yet but the fashion houses are already showing the fall and winter collections for 2010. Here is a sneak peak form Acne. The pictures are for a Swedish blog, Daniel Lindström who is blogging for Café about man fashion. Great blog for guy …. And for girls as well.

reopening of store

Last saturday in Barca we went to a reopening of a store with Monkey Girl. The name of the store haven't been decided jet. One idea for name was egg and chip... funny.

It was a mix of second hand and new clothes.

Gusto and the slampa

Back home after my day in town. I meet up miss Slampa for a soya latte before we had a walk around. We started to talk about games and went for a hunt for a game we think is called Tabu. But no luck at all... seem like the adults in Ireland are not really into games.

Anywho... we had a look in Brown Thomas and it was nothing left on the sale at all ...everything was gone. Spent some time in Eason flicking though magz...Slamps showed me a mag she have been doing some work with in the states called W.

It was really nice because it have very large pages. ( have to pick it up tomorrow)

I bought a book in vibes and scribes, Basic fashion design - Textiles and Fashion. vol 2 ....Packed with varied examples of work by Balenciaga, Sandra Backlund, Prada, Alexander McQueen and more.

Spring 2010: Strips

Good morning! The fog is laying thick over this forgotten place today. I hope the sun will manage to come out and say hello. I have had my breakfast and going to hit town soon to have a look at the final sale at Brown Thomas. Maybe I will find some strips.

Strips is every were this season... and something who never goes out of fashion either. Everybody should have a strip top in the closet.

Chester French: Balmain, Louis Vuitton

On my way to Barcelona I bought the US Vogue January issue. Inside it was a great editorial fashion shoot called Already Famous photografed by Steven Meisel. Featuring 8 bands and Sasha Pivovarov modeling the tops looks from the spring collection of Balmain, Givenchy, Lavin,Louis Vuitton, YLS , Nina Ricci , Gucci and more. These three are my favorites and Im in love with the striped jacket from Givenchy and the whole Balmain spring look.

And she is back....

Yeah, what can I say …you people thought maybe I flooded away here in Cork. Thinking about that my last post was about that in the morning.
But I think my inspiration went a bit down for some reason, a lot had to do with my super busy time at work for the past 3 months and some other reason in my life and I kind of lost my passion for the blogging.

I came back form Barcelona this Sunday after 10 days. And I always find my sprit in Barca from walking on the streets, meeting up with the lovely people I know, meeting new people… So yes I’m back and I can feel my fingers itching and need to get the inspiration out of my head.
